On the scene was part of the
the Second
edition of the Jazz-Flamenco Series “The Flame: Flamenco Infused Jazz”, with
Rebeca Vallejo, who performed some of the songs of her
recently released album “Azúcar, Canela”. The performance was held at the
Cornelia street café last Saturday March 22nd,
with a very unique, romantic and vanguard atmosphere. Rebeca has a unique sound
where Brazilian music, jazz and flamenco mixed into a beautiful creation. On the
other hand, Rebeca presented one of the songs from her next album which is
inspired by one of her favorite bands, The police. The audience fall in love
with her music, and the way she uses her body as an instrument. Definitely an
artist who is influencing the flamenco rhythms.

El tribeca cinema dio la bienvenida a nuestro cine, un cine que está empezando a marcar historia en el exterior, un cine que nos hace sentir orgullosos. La película Default de Simon Brand abrió el festival llenando las expectativas de los asistentes.
La noche termino con buena música por parte de grandes grupos como Onix, con Carolina Guerra, actriz Colombiana, como vocalista.

The Colombian film Festival opening night
Last Tuesday March 25th was the opening of the second version of the Colombian film festival in at the Tribeca cinema in New york . An amazing night with great directors, actors, producers and celebrities who walked the red carpet sharing a single passion, film.
Great stars of our cinematographic industry such as Gustavo Angarita (Winner of a lifetime award) , Alejandra Borrero ( Actress of Anina), Marlon Moreno ( Great Colombian actor ) , and Simon Brand (Director of the film Default ). Each of them talked about their experiences, their work and the importance of this festival for the Colombian and Latin American film industry.
Tribeca cinema welcomed our films that have started to make history in the world. Default by Simon Brand has the world premier after the red carpet, fulfilling the expectations of the audience.The night ended with great music by bands such as Onix with Carolina Guerra, Colombian actress and singer.
